“Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center and the Cyprus Planetarium invite you to an unforgettable weekend filled with family fun, interactive science, creativity and cosmic entertainment!

On the occasion of World Children’s Day and to mark the second anniversary of the Planetarium’s operation, we are joining forces for a one-of-a-kind two-day celebration. Get ready for spectacular shows, interactive workshops, inspiring talks, open-air screenings under the stars, delicious treats and exciting competitions!

On Saturday, May 31st, and Sunday, June 1st, from 9am to 10pm, the Cyprus Planetarium will transform into a planet of joy, where families with children of all ages will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich program of activities, educational experiences and entertainment.

Part of the event’s proceeds will be donated to Hope For Children, and your participation will help build a brighter, happier future for all kids in Cyprus.

The two-day programme will include:

  • STEAM activities and interactive experiments to foster creative thinking and imagination
  • Glow in the dark experiences, for play with light and color in specially-designed spaces
  • Musical Playgroups for the development of musical skills, emotional intelligence, and creativity
  • Theatrical performances that encourage emotional expression
  • Inflatable playgrounds and games for endless fun
  • Arts & crafts workshops where children can experiment with materials and ideas
  • Screenings of children’s movies and VR films, offering tech-enhanced entertainment
  • Dome Shows with mini talks, exhibitions and telescopes for stargazing, all part of the Planetarium’s permanent offerings
  • Popular mascot Stitch will make a special appearance for photos and dancing with the kids!

The Cyprus Planetarium’s Lunar Restaurant will also be open all day, offering visitors a diverse menu of international flavours and aromas.
